The CM Cyclone is a general-purpose hand chain hoist designed for everyday industrial lifting, with an emphasis on efficiency and broad parts interchangeability. The CM Hurricane 360 is built for challenging layouts where the operator needs to lift, pull, or position loads from off-angles, its rotating hand chain cover is the core differentiator.
The CM Cyclone spans 1/4 ton up to 12 ton, covering a wide range of facility and maintenance lifting needs within one hoist family. The CM Hurricane 360 starts at 1/2 ton and extends to 20 ton, making it the better fit when you need higher top-end capacity in a hand chain hoist.
The CM Cyclone is commonly ordered in 10 ft, 15 ft, and 20 ft lifts, with 30 ft available on certain capacities/configurations. The CM Hurricane 360 is commonly offered in 10 ft, 15 ft, 20 ft, and 30 ft lifts across its capacity range.
The CM Cyclone supports multiple suspension styles, including hook-mounted configurations and optional integrated trolley solutions (plain or geared), plus low headroom suspension options depending on configuration. The CM Hurricane 360 is hook-mounted as a standard baseline and can also be configured with other suspensions, most notably plain or geared integrated trolley versions for beam travel.
